Rope & Silks 2

This 75-minute class will expand upon the skills learned in Silks 1 and introduce students to aerial rope. The focus will be on rope basics, in-air inversions, x-back on silks, and linking poses together to create longer aerial sequences (this means DROPS!). In these 75-min classes, we will also be working to improve strength, technique, and quality of movement with progressive conditioning exercises.

PREREQS:

  • Mastery of all level 1 prereqs

  • Basic (French) and Russian climb

  • Basic and flutter down descent

  • Invert from the ground or in air

  • Single & double foot-lock on & off on ground or in air


Lyra 2

This 75-minute class will expand upon the skills learned in Lyra 1, introducing more advanced conditioning and vocabulary.  Students will solidify their bottom bar technique and explore top bar poses, link poses together to create longer sequences, as well as work towards increasing strength and flexibility through focused conditioning and stretching exercises.

PREREQS:

  • Mastery of all level 1 prereqs

  • Clean and controlled straddle up mount and dismount

  • Clean and controlled pullover mount 

  • One arm hang inside hoop

  • 2-3 mermaid variations

  • Familiarity with beats

  • Front and back body balance

  • Double knee hang


Pole 2

This 75-minute class builds on the skills learned in Level 1: training shoulder mount inversions, building sequences, partner pole dancing, incorporating flexibility, and so much more! Students are encouraged to find their own creative voice whether performing class combinations or designing choreography for a show!

PREREQS:

  • Mastery of all level 1 prereqs

  • Chopper on both sides

  • Outside leg hangs on both sides

  • Combined spins, such as toe spin into back hook spin


Silks 2

This 75-minute class will expand upon the skills learned in Silks 1. Students will focus on in-air inversions, x-back, and linking poses together to create longer aerial sequences (this means DROPS!). Students will also be working to improve strength, technique, and quality of movement with progressive conditioning exercises.

This is a multi-level course and will accommodate intermediate-level students and up.

PREREQS:

  • Mastery of all level 1 prereqs

  • Basic (French) and Russian climb

  • Basic and flutter down descent

  • Invert from the ground or in air

  • Single & double foot-lock on & off on ground or in air


Dynamic Silks 2+ - Fundamentals & Sequencing

This class will help students explore dynamic movement (including small drops), transitions, and captivating sequences on aerial silks. Each 75-min class includes a warm-up, and conditioning exercises designed to target specific strength, mobility, and body awareness for dynamic movement. Sling will also be utilized as a conditioning aid.

PREREQ:

  • consecutive inverts in air

  • hip key and thigh hitch in air

  • Ability to remain in the air for at least 3 minutes

  • 30sec straight arm hang

  • 10sec bent arm hang


Sling 2

This 75-minute class will expand upon the skills learned in Sling 1. Students will focus on integrating new vocabulary into longer aerial sequences while also working to improve strength, technique, and quality of movement with progressive conditioning exercises. Newer students will focus on building the endurance needed to spend several minutes in the air, and more experienced students will layer personal style, choreography, and refinement over the basics.

This is a multi-level course and will accommodate intermediate-level students and up.

PREREQS:

  • Mastery of all level 1 prereqs

  • Solid pullover

  • Diaper wrap

  • Invert from ground and/or air

  • Front body balance


Trapeze 2 - on hiatus

This 75-minute class will expand upon the skills learned in Trapeze 1, adding in more advanced poses, climbs, and foundational skills to work towards a complete aerial routine. Newer students will focus on building the endurance needed to spend several minutes in the air, and more experienced students will layer personal style, choreography, and refinement over the basics. This class also provides students with the spotting techniques, discipline, and critical capacity to practice safely outside of class and begin working towards personal goals. 

PREREQS: 

  • Mastery of all level 1 prereqs

  • Clean & controlled mount, sit, stand, dismount

  • Front body balance

  • Double  knee hang under the bar

  • Star/Bird’s Nest

  • Hold ball in ropes for 5 seconds
