Youth Circus Camp

  • This camp is for ages 8-17.

  • Please see the FAQ tab above for class and cancellation policies, as well as other frequently asked questions.

  • Please register by clicking on Sign Up at the top of this page and then selecting the session your child will attend from the purchase page. Purchasing the session price package will automatically register your child for the full session.

  • Each price package is good only for the dates listed, price packages cannot be split across multiple sessions.

Registering multiple students?

All students must have their own separate account in our scheduling system - all accounts must be created and the included waiver signed by the participating student (or their parent or legal guardian if under 18). We can link family and friend accounts so that you only have to remember one password, can share credits, and sign everyone up for class from one account. Please contact us (once all accounts have been created) to be linked!

Summer 2019

Monday - Thursday
12pm-4pm
See schedule below for dates
$250 per session
$75 Super Star performer package*

Four days of circus fun for ages 8-17! This camp is for active young people who wish to explore the aerial and circus arts. From flying on the aerial silks, sling, lyra, and trapeze to juggling, acrobatics, clowning, contortion, and developing their very own act, your kids don't need to run away to join the circus!

All campers are invited to perform at the Youth Showcase on Sunday, July 28th. If your child would like to perform, please be sure to add the *Super Star price package. Only one Super Star package is necessary, even if your child attends more than one session of camp. Purchasing this package will register your child for showcase rehearsals, held on 7/22-7/25 from 2pm-4pm with Violet Defiant and Sara Duhaime.

The showcase will be part of the Things With Wings event, held at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens, and will include optional face-painting and educational exhibits. Things With Wings is a free event, but Matthaei Botanical Gardens’ parking is metered ($1.50/hr) - we strongly recommend car pooling to the show!

  • Parent/legal guardian must be present for the first day of each camp session for a 15 minute orientation meeting with camp director Violet Defiant (12-12:15pm). Please arrive on time so that everyone can leave on time.

  • Clothing requirements: campers should wear close fitting stretchy pants/leggings that cover the backs of the knees, and a close fitting shirt that covers the underarms and can be tucked in.

  • Please pack a protein rich snack (no peanuts please).
