youth Aerial Classes
New students must have a parent or legal guardian present at their first class.
THERE ARE NO DROP-INS — all students must be signed up for class BEFORE arriving to the studio.
These classes are for students ages 8-17.
Youth aerial classes are offered in monthly sessions, as we strongly recommend regular lessons to build confidence and endurance. Registration for monthly sessions opens 2 weeks before the start date of that month’s classes.
If the session does not sell out, individual date sign up will be available on the Monday before the first day of class until the end of that month. If the session is full, individual classes will only be available if someone cancels a reservation. You may add your child to the wait list for a class by clicking on the wait list button next to the date of the class you wish to attend. Joining the wait list does not deduct a credit from your account and it does not automatically add you to the class if an opening becomes available. If a spot opens up, you will receive an automated email, and you may chose to purchase a credit and sign up for class at that time.
We also offer private instruction and parties by appointment.
Registering multiple students?
All students must have their own separate account in our scheduling system - all accounts must be created and the included waiver signed by the participating student (or their parent or legal guardian if under 18). We can link family and friend accounts so that you only have to remember one password, can share credits, and sign everyone up for class from one account. Please contact us (once all accounts have been created) to be linked!
Youth Aerial - Thursdays 5-6pm
Sept session is sold out - registration for Oct (10/3-10/24) will open on 9/19!
This class is designed for active young people to explore the aerial arts, known as "flying". All students will warm up and cool down together, then will split into two groups based on experience and ability level.
Beginning students will work with instructor Stephanie to learn the basic poses and sequences on the aerial apparatus. Once they have the basics down, they will work on building the endurance needed to spend several minutes in the air, as well as sequencing poses into mini routines.
Intermediate students will be with instructor Sara, focusing on technique, form, and choreography while learning more complex sequences and developing their personal style.
PREREQ: Students new to the Aviary must have a parent or legal guardian present on their first day. The guardian does not have to stay for the duration of the lesson but must be present to meet the instructor on the first day.
