Hoop Foundations
Oct 20th, Nov 10th, Dec 15th


Learn the foundational moves so important to hoop dance, hoop fitness and circus hooping. All levels are welcome; this class is fabulous for beginner students and a wonderful way for more experienced hoopers to reclaim on the body hooping, tighten up the basics and sweat!

  • No hoop? No problem! Pre-made dance hoops and lightweight polypros will be available for purchase.
  • All students who attend Foundations are welcome to join the later workshop on the same night, regardless of previous hoop experience. 
  • Student 16+ are welcome
  • Please wear close fitting and comfortable clothes that allow freedom of movement.
  • Bring a water bottle, you will need it!

Hoop Foundations -- 5:30pm to 6:45pm
Hoop Pizzazz! -- 7:00pm to 8:15pm


What do we want? Flair! When do we want it? Now!
Open to all levels, this class offers myriad ways to take your hooping to the next level. While this class is great for intermediate hoopers to add something fresh to your flow, *beginners* can also enjoy exploring fun movement and a little challenge in a supportive environment. Requests welcome!

November 10th

Jumping Through Hoops: Creating Flow & Dynamic Movement -- 7:00pm to 8:15pm

Explore how jump-throughs and tosses can create exciting movement and flow as you transition through different planes and levels, all while moving your hoop on, off and around the body. Learn to connect with your hoop in new ways and add pizzazz to your routine and playtime. Some hoop experience is preferred, but all levels are welcome in this workshop.

December 15th
Hoop Foundations -- 5:30pm to 6:45pm
Hoops Galore: Bringing Multiple Hoops Into Your Flow -- 7:00pm to 8:15pm

This all level workshop leads you through on and off the body techniques to add pizzazz to your flow and spice up any routine. Create shapes and dynamic movement, build balance and strength, reunite with on-body hooping and impress your friends! Learn to wrangle 2 to 5 hoops, and take your existing skills to the next level. Some hoop experience is preferred, but all levels are welcome in this workshop.
