Registering multiple students?

All students must have their own separate account in our scheduling system - all accounts must be created and the included waiver signed by the participating student (or their parent or legal guardian if under 18). We can link family and friend accounts so that you only have to remember one password, can share credits, and sign everyone up for class from one account. Please contact us (once all accounts have been created) to be linked! 


Advanced Silks & Rope - resumes 9/5!

This is a faster-paced class with emphasis on technique, skill-building, and conditioning. Choreography will focus on movement efficiency and momentum, endurance, and artistry. Students new to this level will work toward building the strength, flexibility, and vocabulary needed to execute complex sequences. More experienced students can expect to develop a personal vocabulary of movement with mental and physical exercises designed to develop aerial problem-solving skills, (safe) experimentation, and discovery.

PREREQS: Students are expected to be training at least 2-3x per week to maintain the strength and stamina necessary for this class. Bring extra layers to protect your body, such as a long sleeve shirt, extra leggings, and socks with the toes cut out.

  • Mastery of all Beginner and Intermediate Silks prereqs
  • Mastery of at least 2 climbs, in addition to basic (French) & Russian (with at least one inverted climb)
  • Mastery of at least two ways into X back
  • Multiple inversions in air
  • Solid hip key in the air
  • Dancer wrap foot locks
  • S wrap
  • Ability to remain in the air for at least 4 minutes
  • Ability to hang by hands (straight or bent arm) for 20 seconds
  • Demonstrated ability/willingness to listen to and follow instructor directions

 


Advanced Static Trapeze (on hiatus)

This is a faster-paced class with emphasis on technique, skill-building, and conditioning. Choreography will focus on movement efficiency and refinement, endurance, and artistry. Students new to this level will work toward building the strength, flexibility, and vocabulary needed to execute complex sequences. More experienced students can expect to develop a personal vocabulary of movement with mental and physical exercises designed to develop aerial problem-solving skills, (safe) experimentation and discovery, and development of critical capacities.

PREREQS: 

  • Instructor permission
  • Mastery of all Intermediate Static Trapeze prereqs
  • 2+ years consistent aerial practice
  • 5 consecutive straddle ups
  • 5 consecutive skin the cats
  • Please bring thick socks or trapeze boots
